Cassie Trevino (’25) founded the annual Clark Women's Soccer Lymphoma Awareness Game after her grandmother was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma. The tradition was later carried on by rising senior defender Jayme Brown (MBA ’26) in honor of her grandfather, who was diagnosed with plasma cell leukemia (PCL), and family friend Pete Carag, who passed away in June 2023 following a lengthy battle with multiple myeloma. After Jayme graduated, junior defender Ella Jimenez (’28) is continuing the tradition to raise awareness and support for those impacted by blood cancers. As both a cancer survivor and researcher, I understand firsthand how critical community fundraising is to advancing treatments and improving the lives of patients and survivors. How to help? By donating to this fundraiser you are not only helping children and adults survive cancer but also allowing them to thrive in their lives after treatment!

I'm Taking Action to Show Up

When people come together around a shared purpose, we can create hope far beyond one campus or town. From classrooms and campus traditions to family networks, workplaces, and communities, I've been inspired by United On Campus to turn my connection into meaningful action for people impacted by blood cancer.

That's why I'm partnering with Blood Cancer United to raise lifesaving funds that support blood cancer patients and their families today while helping advance new treatments and cures for the future.

I'm taking action with a big goal, and you can help me reach it by making a donation and sharing my link with your friends, family, and everyone you know!

Your donation goes straight to work, funding:

  • Innovative research focused on developing patient-centered treatments and cures.
  • One-on-one, personalized support for patients, caregivers, and families as they navigate diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
  • Advocacy efforts that help improve access to quality healthcare and critical resources for blood cancer patients.

Every dollar raised helps Blood Cancer United accelerate progress toward a world without blood cancer while ensuring patients and families have the support they need right now.

Help me power progress for people facing blood cancer with a gift today.

Thank you for being part of this effort and helping me reach my goal!
