Dare to Dream with Joe and LLS!
Since 2013, I’ve supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) because I’ve seen what our donations can do—kids cured, families supported, lives changed. But it’s not enough to help them survive. These kids deserve to thrive.
That's why I'm back at it! When I can directly make a child's life better with my own effort I'm all in!!
I’m asking you to join me during LLS’s Dare to Dream Days, May 12–16, 2025. Every dollar raised—100%—goes directly to the Dare to Dream Project, a $175 million initiative to develop safer, more effective treatments for children with blood cancer. I have a goal of raising $20,000 in one week!
As a parent, I can’t imagine hearing “your child has leukemia” and then learning that the treatments available are decades old—brutal on young bodies and minds. That’s the reality families face today. Kids often survive, but with lasting side effects that haunt them into adulthood.
LLS is working to change that. They’re leading first-of-their-kind clinical trials like PedAL, pushing for faster development of kid-specific therapies, and offering free support services to help children and families navigate this journey.
Why now? Pediatric cancer research is at risk. Cuts to federal funding have already shut down promising clinical trials. LLS isn’t funded by the government—when public support dries up, it’s up to us.
The science is ready. The treatments are possible. We just need the funding.
