In memory of Riley Saper & In honor of Jeff Saper

As many of you know cancer has touched my life very personally.  My husband, Jeff, is a Hairy-Cell Leukemia Survivor of 7 years and while we are so incredibly grateful for his recovery, we also know the pain of losing someone to this dreaded disease.  Sadly in 2010, Jeff lost his incredible son, Riley Saper, only thirteen years old, to AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) after a six-month battle with the disease.

And this is why year after year, Jeff and I continue to give our time and tireless efforts to raise funds to support those battling this dreaded disease and to support research that will one day find a cure.  This July, we along with our team, Champions 4 Cures will be traversing the island of Madeira on a hike to raise funds and awareness for Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - LLS).

Anything that you can do to support our hike and Blood Cancers United - big or small- is greatly appreciated.  Finding a cure for cancer is something I believe we can do together.
