Hello everyone! The Trent family has been asked by Blood Cancer United (formerly Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) to be a part of their inaugural Dare to Dream Campaign where all donations go directly to Children's Cancer Research. The catch is it only lasts ONE MONTH!!
Thus, we are embarking on a new adventure together and hope that you will continue to support the Trent family's efforts to crush cancer!
Our sweet Monica was diagnosed with leukemia in February 2002 at the age of eight. The treatment protocol for leukemia hasn't changed too much in the 24 years since then, and that is an even more reason that we want to help with the Dare to Dream program. We want to make sure that other families can have positive outcomes too.
Our family has been very fortunate to have had these extra 24 years with Monica in our life, and wanted to share some of the highlights with you: Being a bridesmaid for sister Nicole; Being a bride with husband Jeff; Being an Aunt to Landon and Ryan; Being able to go to medical conferences with father Christopher (Kaiser Permanente ones too!); and finally, Becoming a competent surgeon and able to complete her 5-year Residency in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at UCI (graduation is June 5th)!! And now, Monica is paying it forward by embarking on a one-year Fellowship in Oncology Head and Neck Program at Cinncinati Hospital after graduation. :)
Please celebrate with us these additional years we were granted due to Medical Research for childhood leukemia. None of us knows whether tomorrow will come, and we need your help to raise much needed funds for future kids' tomorrows!
Feel free to share this website; let's Crush Cancer together!
Thank you for all your love and support!
xx MNLC (Monica, Nicole, Lisa, Christopher)

Please join us in supporting Blood Cancer United's Dare to Dream Project! Your donation will directly fund therapies, treatments, and support resources for kids and young adults with blood cancers.
Blood Cancer United recognizes children are different than adults and their blood cancers need to be treated differently: A one-size treatment doesn’t fit all. The Dare to Dream Project is a bold and urgent $175 million initiative to transform treatment and care for kids with blood cancer, by:
- Leading cutting-edge pediatric research including Blood Cancer United's PedAL, the first-ever pediatric acute leukemia Master Clinical Trial.
- Powering advocacy to accelerate the development of pediatric cancer treatments.
- Continuing to provide free education and support services to help more young blood cancer patients and survivors live longer and fuller lives.
100% of donations made on this page will go directly to the Dare to Dream Project.
Every donation brings us closer to safer, more effective treatments designed just for kids. Together, we can give kids with cancer the brighter future they deserve. On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
