Please join me in supporting Blood Cancer United’s Dare to Dream Days Campaign, March 23, 2026 – April 20, 2026! With your gift, we can help transform treatment and care for kids and young adults with blood cancers.

I am raising funds for the Dare to Dream Project to honor our beloved son, Adam Wolk.

Adam was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in May 2003.  Adam received his medical care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  He passed away in October 2003 from complications after a bone marrow transplant.  Adam was only 18 years old and he would now be 40 years old.  All his future plans and opportunities for his life were taken away by the dreadful, challenging, AML blood cancer. 

Your support for the Dare to Dream Project is the most meaningful and significant action you can take to honor Adam Wolk as our beloved son, brother, and friend.  Your donation to Dare to Dream will help fund research for pediatric blood cancers, including AML, and help future children receive targeted clinical trials and medical treatment so that they can be cured of their blood cancer.  Research to develop improved targeted AML medical treatments is especially required because decades have passed without any significant AML treatment outcome improvements.

Blood Cancer United recognizes children are different than adults and their blood cancers need to be treated differently: A one-size treatment doesn’t fit all. The Dare to Dream Project is a bold and urgent $175 million initiative to transform treatment and care for kids with blood cancer, by:

- Leading cutting-edge pediatric research including Blood Cancer United's PedAL, the first-ever pediatric acute leukemia Master Clinical Trial.

- Powering advocacy to accelerate the development of pediatric cancer treatments.

- Continuing to provide free education and support services to help more young blood cancer patients and survivors live longer and fuller lives.

100% of donations made on this page will go directly to the Dare to Dream Project. 

Every donation brings us closer to safer, more effective treatments designed just for kids. Together, we can give kids with cancer the brighter future they deserve. On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!

To The Wolk Family - I think about Adam often and the lifelong memories we created in such little time. To this day he continues to be a source of inspiration in my life and someone I turn to spiritually when times get tough. I’m thankful to have known him, and my son Luke proudly reps the middle name Adam in his memory.
