Our son Matt was diagnosed with Hodgekin's Lymphoma at the age of 14, in October of 2018. Our lives were forever changed with those four words "your son has cancer." He went through 4 rounds of chemotherapy over the course of 3 months. Those months seemed like a lifetime, and they were tough. Matt lost his hair, but not his spirit. When he finished his treatment, he vowed to raise money and awareness, and try to help others who were also stricken with cancer. This January, Matt celebrated being 7 years cancer free.
Please join Matt & I in supporting Blood Cancer United's Dare to Dream Project! Your donation will directly fund therapies, treatments, and support resources for kids and young adults with blood cancers.
Blood Cancer United recognizes children are different than adults and their blood cancers need to be treated differently: A one-size treatment doesn’t fit all. The Dare to Dream Project is a bold and urgent $175 million initiative to transform treatment and care for kids with blood cancer, by:
- Leading cutting-edge pediatric research including Blood Cancer United's PedAL, the first-ever pediatric acute leukemia Master Clinical Trial.
- Powering advocacy to accelerate the development of pediatric cancer treatments.
- Continuing to provide free education and support services to help more young blood cancer patients and survivors live longer and fuller lives.
Our family is so grateful for your support and your donation to help to cure pediatric cancer.
With love,
Jewlz and Matt
