Welcome to my fundraising page on behalf of the 2017 Mr. Marina Competition! The Mr. Marina Compeition is an annual male beauty pageant created and hosted by BCH that raises funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Since 2012, Mr. Marina has raised $700K for LLS. Mr. Marina is first and foremost a fundraising event, created as a benefit for blood cancer research and patient services. It is also aimed to bring young professionals in San Francisco together to achieve something great. Donate to my fundraising campaign here and make sure to buy tickets to the main event on Wednesday, May 17th at the Palace of Fine Arts!

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
