Our mother was a remarkable woman defined by kindness, grace, and an unwavering commitment to others. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved, earning the nickname “Mama T” from so many beyond her own family. Even in the face of life’s greatest challenges, including a long battle with lymphoma, she carried herself with strength, positivity, and compassion.

Thanks to advances in treatment, including Rituximab, she was able to enjoy many more meaningful years with family and friends. Those years were a gift — not only to her, but to everyone who knew and loved her.

In her honor, we support Blood Cancer United so that others may benefit from the same life-extending research, care, and innovation that meant so much to our family. Continuing this work is a way to carry forward her legacy of love, generosity, and hope.

Blood Cancer United is responsible for many of the advancements that have contributed to increased blood cancer survival rates over the years.  And, many Blood Cancer United supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with other forms of cancers as well.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Beyond research, your donation also supports critical patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.

Please consider sharing my page with other friends and family who may also feel inspired to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!

Heath Ponder & Jim Lesti,
Rosemary was a wonderful person who loved her family. I will always remember the times at the lake when she welcomed all my family to her home. She was a very lovely person who will be greatly missed.
Brenda Berrier,
Rosemary was a sweet and kind person. I came to know her as a beloved neighbor of my sister, Jeanne, at Keuka Lake but she became a friend to all of us.
Robin Adair,
Heartful thoughts and prayers in the loss of beloved friend Rosemary Mihalko-Thomas. We were neighbor growing up in Corning and our families enjoyed many good times together. May her memory be eternal. Sincerely, Carole Serdula-Herrlich
