Hey Everybody!! 

We are so super excited that our daughter Sarah has been nominated for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Student of the Year Campaign! This is a 7-week initiative in which nominated high school students participate in a fundraising competition to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). And Sarah is the only nominee for the entire State of New Jersey! 

So here's the scoop...Sarah has been asked to take on the challenge of raising a minimum of $5,000 and join the fight against blood cancers. Now, if Sarah raises the Most funds she will receive a $2,500 scholarship to the school or university of her choice. I know we are #10KidsNoProblem and #babymaker10 (but any and all scholarships are welcomed ;) 

Sarah is rallying our community, her school, friends and family to support this fundraising effort. By raising money we are coming one step closer to curing cancer, and helping others fight their battles. Just as important, Sarah is living into her purpose of helping others. Ever since she was 13 years old she took on the possibility of volunteering and giving back to the community. Sarah has volunteered every summer at the Collingswood Manor, a full service assisted living community.
