Welcome To My Fundraising Page for the February Spin Event!!!
I would like to especially remember my wonderful Aunt Mary Campbell with this event - we lost her husband, my amazing uncle Jim Campbell to Leukemia in the early 1980's when he was far too young and he was the reason I first became involved with Team in 2008 (Nation's Tri)

We lost my brother to cancer in 2010, and Aunt Mary just passed away this January 5 and is no doubt now together with Uncle Jim, Dad (who was taken by type 1 Diabetes in 1999) and John, perhaps playing a wonderful game of Hearts, Hate Your Neighbor, or Oh Hell! (We always enjoyed cards after dinner while on vacation together.) Aunt Mary had an absolutely delightful sense of humor and I constantly am reminded of the silly ways she liked to put things. Her birthday would have been in February.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis. We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
