Hello

For the 3rd year in a row, I will be participating in the Philly Big Climb to raise funds for and awareness of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  This year's event will be held at the FMC Tower on Saturday, April 13th.  Along with hundreds of others I will make my way up the 1088 stairs.

As many of you know, I am working on a project at Aramark, and the office recently moved to a beautiful new location at 2400 Market Street.   From the west side of the building, I look out to the FMC Tower, and have been 'mentally' practicing for the climb!

It is because of my friend, Mary Pennington, team captain 'extraordinaire' that I continue to do this.    She is a lymphoma survivor herself, and has become very involved in the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.   She is an inspiration, and makes the climb 'fun' by bringing together an entertaining and enthusiastic group.

Thank you to all of you who have supported me in the past.   I invite you to donate once again to this wonderful organization.

I hope to send photos from the top this year (it has rained the previous two).   Regardless, you will be with me every step of the way.

Best to all

Randi

Welcome To My Fundraising Page.

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
