Program Dates: March 15 - 26, 2021

In previous years the EHS Builders Club has conducted a “Pennies for Patients” fundraiser each March to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Individuals both within and beyond our own community are fighting leukemia and lymphoma, so we very much want to continue that effort. However, the hybrid learning model doesn’t allow for our usual homeroom competition this year. Instead, we invite families and individuals to contribute directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which conducts vital research and provides greatly needed resources to individuals in treatment and their families.

The Builders Club has set a fundraising goal of $1200 but hopes to surpass it! If you feel so moved, please make your tax-deductible contribution to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on this page. If you would prefer to write a check, please make it out to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and give it to Liz Schutt, the Builders Club Adviser. We will also accept cash donations of any amount -- coins or dollars! -- in the large jar on the counter in the front office. Many thanks in advance for your generous donations! 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Hero Squad Program is working with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient support services. Our school has partnered with LLS to take on the mission of ending cancer once and for all.

YOU can help our Squad make a huge impact in the fight against cancer by making a contribution to our fundraising efforts!

Thanks to your support, LLS is able to launch endeavors like The LLS Children's Initiative.

This initiative seeks to accelerate treatments with fewer harmful side effects so that young patients like Madelina (above) not only survive, but thrive, for generations to come.
