About Dr. Krauss

Lawrence Krauss is a theoretical physicist and cosmologist who is the Foundation Professor of the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, and Director of its Origins Project.  He is a pioneer in breaching the gap between science and popular culture and speaks about a wide range of science topics around the world. A full biography can be viewed at his website here http://krauss.faculty.asu.edu/biography/

He will be speaking at Lakeridge High School on diverse topics such as the state of the universe, altruism, and xenophobia.  This will be a combination lecture and question-&-answer session, so bring your burning questions about the universe and humanity!

Dr. Krauss is brought to you by Team Cancer Crushers, a student team competing in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Students of the Year fundraising competition.  Ticket sales from this event will go towards finding cures for cancer, patient support and advocacy.   Cancer Crushers consists of 16 year-olds Celeste Williams, a childhood leukemia survivor, and Henrik Hunt whose mother is currently battling Multiple Myeloma.
