We are proud to represent The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Leadership Team for Students of the Year Portland 2020! Students of the Year is a seven-week philanthropic leadership development program during which select high school students participate in a fundraising competition to drive forward LLS’s mission of fighting blood cancers. As members of the Leadership Team and Students of the Year alumni, we worked all through 2019 to recruit the best, brightest, and most generous local high schoolers we could find! Now, together, we are doing what we can to continue saving lives!

LLS is the world's leading funder of blood cancer research. Since 2017, LLS funded 46 of 53 blood cancer treatments approved by the FDA. In fact, much of the research LLS funds goes on to help other cancers. LLS can proudly declare that they have helped to advance nearly 1 in 4 of ALL cancer treatments. We are proud members of this organization because we believe beating cancer is in our blood!
