Welcome To Our Fundraising Page.

We are privileged to be nominated as candidates to lead a team in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) 2022 Students of the Year Campaign.  Students of the Year is a fundraising competition led by high school students to raise money to support LLS and their cause. We are writing today to ask for your support of our campaign and LLS’s mission to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, or myeloma. We have been given an opportunity to help others and we cannot do it without your support!
 
From March 2^nd to May 13^th, our goal is to raise over $25,000! Yes, you read that correctly, more than $25,000 in 10 weeks, which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission. We know this is an ambitious undertaking, but we know that we can achieve it with the help of our amazing friends and families.

We are leading this team in honor of our heroes.  One is Audra Yarholar who is currently a 6th grader at Deer Creek Intermediate school. Audra was diagnosed with Leukemia in early 2018 and battled the disease for over 2 years. We can proudly say she is cancer-free! After seeing what Audra and her family went through due to this horrible disease, we wanted to participate in this great cause.

Lisa Towler, another one of our heroes, battled leukemia as a child and beat the terrible disease as well! Her childhood was ripped away from her, as is the case with many pediatric blood cancer patients fighting this battle. Lisa unfortunately passed in 2020 due to other medical issues. We want to continue her legacy through this campaign and end all blood cancers!
