Sam's Students of the Year Fundraiser

Feb 28, 2022

Welcome To My Fundraising Page.

I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 10 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of  Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?

Growing up, I did not know anyone close to me experiencing any form of blood cancer. It was not until recent years when my close friends' brother was diagnosed with Leukemia. Many people supported him and his family during his fight. For me, seeing a kid at a young age having to experience Leukemia doesn't sit right. Only being able to do so much while wanting to do everything possible, is hard. No one should have to go through this struggle, so I decided to volunteer for LLS to help and join the fight against blood cancer.

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit

Harrison Murphy is a 15-year-old survivor of cancer -- one who has been an incredibly special student in my teaching life throughout the past 3 years. Harrison's positivity, determination, work ethic, and passion for health and fitness -- even while battling his cancer -- provide inspiration and gratitude in all aspects of my daily life. Every time I meet with him to work on academic lessons, Harrison expresses his appreciation for everything in his life -- and he demonstrates such respect for learning and for me as his teacher. I am so thankful that Harrison's treatments have been successful. With every donation raised by Sam Hall -- and many others joining this cause -- perhaps we can improve treatments, find cures, and one day come to know that lives of young people battling cancer won't have to be cut short. I look forward to a day when no child experiences what Harrison suffered as a middle schooler. I honor Harrison! Thank you, Sam Hall, for your fundraising leadership, too!
