Ana Hernandez | Team Trinity - Fight the Fight Against Blood Cancer
Welcome to Ana Hernandez's SOY Fundraising Page!
Hello Community, Family & Friends,
I am honored to participate as a team member for my daughter's (Trinity Hernandez) 2020 Students of the Year program. Please read a special message from her below and I thank you for making a difference in helping save people's lives with your donation.
Message from Trinity:
Thank you for visiting my Students of the Year page. During this COVID-19 pandemic I hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe. As we adjust to the many changes we may be asked to make in our daily lives, I strongly believe that the spirit of giving will continue to lead our communities. Whether you have been giving back to your community as an essential worker, a business feeding the community and healthcare workers on the frontlines, a caregiver providing the best care for someone with a compromised immune system or an organization giving back to the most vulnerable - Thank You from the bottom of my heart!
I am honored to participate as a candidate for the 2020 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the Coachella Valley participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am proud to have 7-year-old Dominic Reyes as my Honored Hero for my campaign. Myself and ten of my team members are raising critical dollars in honor of Dominic and many others who have been affected by blood cancer. Dominic was diagnosed with Leukemia at the young age of three but is thankfully now in remission. Each dollar you donate is a vote! At the end of the 7-week campaign, the candidate team that raises the most money is named Student of the Year. Our mission is to not only raise the most money, but also to bring awareness to all blood cancers, especially Leukemia, which is the most common form of cancer in children like Dominic and teens.
I am very fortunate to have been nominated for this program by my local First Tee of Coachella Valley, a golf program that I have been involved in for over 6 years. The First Tee has been instrumental in not only teaching me the game of golf but also in helping me define my character and academic skills through the 9 core values. Throughout the years, I've learned to manage being a student-athlete and a leader in my community. I am a proud junior Lady Knight golfer at Shadow Hills High School and pride myself in having a 4.20 GPA and currently taking four Advanced Placement classes all while taking on this amazing challenge. I am the Team Captain for the Varsity Girls Golf Team and have received consecutive MVP recognitions all three seasons. Most of my volunteer activities mainly revolve around golf. I love to teach young kids how to play golf because it allows me to make an impact on our future leaders and teach them the nine core values that the First Tee has taught me.
Because I am determined to make a difference, I have an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 within my campaign dates. With your generosity, not only will you be supporting my mission, but you will also be contributing to finding a cure for cancer so that young children like Dominic can continue to thrive and live healthy lives. Together we can change the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
Please visit this website often and bring friends who would also like to donate! I invite you to also visit my social media page on Facebook Team Trinity - Fight the Fight or via Instagram or Twitter "TeamTrinity2020" to stay updated on my campaign progress.
On behalf of cancer patients everywhere and Team Trinity - Fight the Fight, we thank you for your support!
With deepest gratitude,
Trinity Hernandez & Team Members

I am donating in memory of Sgt Josue Estrada, who is a OIF veteran and who I served with in Afghanistan. Sgt Estrada lost his battle to cancer in February 2016. Trinity has done a awesome job and is a great example of a #knightsdoitright. I encourage you to please donate to her cause.
