I am super excited to share that I am a team member for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Students of the Year campaign. This is a 7-week philanthropic competition in which teams raise awareness and fundraise for blood cancers. Our goal is to raise $50,000 between February 9th and March 29th, and your help is needed!

It’s an honor to participate in this campaign and contribute to combat this horrible disease as I, alongside many of my teammates, have had families personally affected with the illness. My participation is a way for me to give back to those who are currently fighting and coping with their affliction. While we have lost many loved ones to lymphoma, leukemia, and other various cancers, we have also seen tremendous success in the fight against these diseases.

LLS has invested nearly $1.3 billion into cancer research since 1949, leading to incredible medical advancements today and making big strides to improve the quality of life for patients. From the start of 2017 until today, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an incredible 53 new blood cancer treatments and LLS helped advance 46 of those treatments at some point in their development journey.

Many of these advancements were only made possible with the help of generous donations from people like you. It would be truly appreciated if you support our goal and help fight the battle against these cancers.
