Team Cookies for a Cause has come to life out of a dream to end cancer. Both team leaders, Mya and Aislinn, learned about LLS and the student visionaries program last year from a fellow teammate on their swim team. Since then, we have been inspired to lead a team of our own to fundraise for this amazing cause. 

Aislinn’s love for baking inspired our team name, as we will hold bake sales as part of our plan  towards meeting our fundraising goal. 

Mya has a personal connection to Leukemia, which led us to choosing the pillar of research for Team Cookies for a Cause. Her Grandpa has been fighting Leukemia with the help of new research and trials, making it a great choice for us to choose the research message. 

As a team, we hope to work together in order to fundraise as much as possible for the student visionaries of the year and for LLS. As students, it doesn’t always feel like we have the power to make change, but student visionaries have given us a voice and a platform to do so, we hope you can help contribute to this too!
