Hello! Team "Be the Change!" is a fundraising page for LLS ( The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ) started by Lillie Tyrrell and Corey Won.  We are highschool juniors who attend Trinity School and The Spence School in New York City. We met through competitive swimming six years ago and have been the best of friends ever since! At every practice and meet, we have always been there for each other. We are both dedicated women who fight passionately for what we believe in. We have both had family members affected by cancer.  Seeing, first-hand, their determination and strength in their fights with these diseases inspired us to support this cause.  Our campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in the hopes that one day, no one will have to grow up without the ones they love.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on the vision of a better world, one without blood cancers. This year, we are proud to be a part of LLS's Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As global leaders in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients

• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.

• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
