Student Visionaries of the Year New York City

Kate's Student Visionaries of the Year New York City Fundraiser
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. I'm working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission of a better world, one without blood cancers.
While I do not personally know of a friend or family member in this situation, hearing stories about individuals with blood cancer inspired me to raise money for blood cancer research and support LLS’s overall mission, finding a cure for blood cancers and improving the quality of life for patients on their road to recovery.
Over the past year I have been fortunate enough to grow as a dancer, performer and person. A huge inspiration throughout my journey has been my dance teacher, Julia Kane who is a survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is her motivation, caring nature, and infectious sense of humor that has positively impacted me.
I am eager to raise money to help blood cancer patients not only survive but thrive after treatment. I have set a goal of $200 and I need you to reach it. The money raised helps LLS fund research to advance lifesaving treatments and take immense strides in creating a world without blood cancers, a world we would love and need to see.
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Any amount helps and will be pivotal in finding a cure for blood cancers and improving the quality of life for patients.
My efforts will help ensure my generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
