Originally, my friends, Annabella, Kayleigh, and Grace, were going around trying to get as many people as possible to help them raise money for LLS- so, I said, "Why not?". As I've become more involved in doing outreach, seen more people donate to this wonderful organization, and worked with this amazing group of people towards a great cause, this effort has held a bigger, more meaingful place in my heart. Also, after reflecting on how David Lee, my great-uncle (my grandpa's brother and friend most of all) passed away from Leukemia, this cause hit closer to home. I am mesmirized by how dedicated everyone on my team is and they only inspire me to do more. I hope good can come out of this and that I can help those who haven't been as fortunate or lucky as I have been. I think we can all lend more of hand to each other in 2023 and give back to our communities- it will only bring us closer!
