My name is Saeyoung Lee and thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!

Over the past few months, my friends and I have been working on a fundraiser through the Students of the Year Program. This program is hosted by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the United States supporting blood cancer patients as well as blood cancer research.

Leukemia causes more deaths in children under twenty than any other cancer. While there is a 90% survival rate currently for children diagnosed with these harmful diseases, we are still losing too many people to this disease. My team of high school students, Team Impact, has started an incredible mission of being a part of curing not just leukemia, but all cancers.

We will be participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year that runs from January 14th  - March 6th and will be competing with other high school students across the New York City area during those 7 weeks to raise the most funds. We have set the goal of raising $30,000. While this is certainly not a small goal, I know that I can do it with your help! 

As a highschool student, I want to be the change we see in the world. I needed to help others and have a real impact. By supporting LLS and Team Impact in the journey to be the Student of the Year I know I can do that, but I cannot do it alone as there is greater success with more people coming together to support the same cause.
