Hi my name is Lorelei Cadorette and I am a sophomore at Dominican Academy high school located in nyc. This is my first year working with LLS and my journey with this amazing group of people is just beginning! LLS stands for Leukemia Lymphoma Society and their mission is to find the cures for blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin disease in addition to creating better and more affordable treatments for existing patients. While I am not interested in pursuing a medical career I am passionate about humanitarian organizations and opportunities, and working with LLS is a perfect opportunity to help those in need. Due to the impact of Coronavirus I understand that money may be tight, but any amount you can spare will be greatly appreciated and will make a major difference in not only one life, but thousands.
