With COVID-19 greatly affecting everyone right now it is more important than ever to help those in need as much as you can. Cancer patients are at a higher risk of being affected and now also have to deal with paying for treatments and all of the side effects along with the stress of this pandemic. All of this makes it more important to donate to organizations like LLS. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation to help those living with cancer. I could not thank you enough for any support that you can give me by donating and promoting my page.

As a global leader in the fight to end cancer, LLS is committed to doing more for blood cancer patients and families than any organization in the world. LLS’s signature fundraising campaigns drive critical support for its mission, including a nearly $1.3 billion investment in cutting edge cancer research worldwide since it was founded in 1949. Since the 1960s, survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled.

Every year approximately 3,679 young adults and children are diagnosed. Imagine someone my age trying to navigate not only college applications, studying for the sats, and trying to build their college resume but also having to deal with their diagnoses. LLS is divided into many branches with one of them being the children's initiative. Money from your donation goes to assist all of the branches at LLS including the children's initiative helping develop treatments for people my age and younger.
