Thank you for coming to my fundrasing page. It truly means more than I can express.
Last winter, I watched my best friends sister get diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma on her 21st birthday. As I watched her with strength, determination, and grace beat cancer in the midst of a Global Pandemic I was truly in awe and felt inspired. I recently learned that my grandma, Gladys Cole who passed away 6 months ago had Lymphoma 18 years ago. This makes my experince working with LLS even more special and gratifying that I know i'm helping people go through what she battled as well as I know shes looking down watching my Students of The Year journey. Something she always told me was, I was the best thing that has ever happend to her. I hope the money and awareness i'm raising can give someone the feeling I gave my Nana.
When I heard about Students of the Year, I instantly knew it was something I had to be apart of. I encourage you to join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. By donating to LLS, you support the many facets of LLS’s mission work from investing in groundbreaking research, providing education and support to patients, just like my best friends sister. My appreciation for your support cannot be expressed — each and every dollar donated to LLS brings us closer to our goal to end blood cancer and makes an impact for cancer patients and their families during these devestating times.
I have had the pleasure to be nominated to run my own Students of the Year team in 2022. I'm so excited for what the next 2 years have to come and I certainly could not do it all without you all. Even though I have just recently gotten involved, it has been a life changing experience that I will cherish forever.
