Hi! We are the leaders of Team Just Cure It: Gia, Carly and Macie.  We are all sophomores at the Hewitt School in New York City, and right now, we are doing everything we can to make sure our fundraising campaign is the best it can be!  

 

First and foremost, THANK YOU from the bottom of OUR hearts for taking the time to visit our Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year fundraising page and for your ultimate generosity.

 

We’ve been nominated as candidates for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s 2019 Student of the Year program! This 7-week program raises funds for research and the fight against blood cancers.  

 

Our team of 13 amazing people is helping us raise money and hopefully reach our goal.

 

As students at Hewitt, we’ve learned from an early age the importance of giving back and making a difference. We have always looked for ways of helping others and we have an urge to get the job done. So when we got this opportunity to fundraise for LLS, we immediately went all in. We could see that LLS has saved lives and changed lives - from the groundbreaking research they fund, to the support they provide to those living with a blood cancer. In LLS, we found an organization that shares our urgency around making a difference - today.

 

Your donations will go to fund treatments and research that save lives, not someday but now. Many LLS supported treatments such as immunotherapy, genomics, and precision medicine that were first discovered for blood cancer, have gone on to help treat other forms of cancer as well. And LLS funded drugs are now saving thousands of lives every day. We are getting so close to being a world without blood cancers!  

 

All donations are greatly appreciated and can be tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

 

And you can potentially even double your donation! Many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees. Check to see if your company will match your donation.

 

And if your company doesn’t match, but you’d still like to make your donation GROW, message any one of us to find out how.
