Sadly, this has been a reality for more than 1.3 million Americans who are fighting or are in
remission from blood cancer. Almost every high school student wants the chance to partake in
something that will change the world; this year, I will have that chance.

My name is Sophia Papalardo and I’m part of Team Warriors for Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society 2024.

Our Student Visionaries of the Year campaign is officially underway. My team and I are so
proud to be a part of what LLS is doing to fight blood cancers. We have made great progress
towards our goal, but we still have ways to go until the GRAND FINALE on March 8th. If you
already donated, THANK YOU! We couldn’t be more grateful for every donate we have
received!
