Hello! My name is Daphne Sfeir and I am a junior at Magnificat High School! I am honored to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign for my first year as a candidate for team Magnificure. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision, of a better world, one without blood cancers. Within the society, student visionaries look to the future and see infinite possibilities. They challenge the status quo and make the impossible possible. Imagining a better world, while leading the charge to create it. As a 2023 candidate, I have a vision for a world without cancer. I have witnessed firsthand and also know just how much cancer has affected millions of people worldwide. I, along with my hardworking Magnificure teammates, are aiming to raise $30,000 over this 7-week fundraising season to help aid the fight against blood cancer. During these weeks, hundreds of teams around Northeast Ohio will compete by raising money which tallies up votes. Every $1 raised count adds one vote for my campaign. After these 7 weeks, the candidates whose team tallies the most votes earns the honorable title of "Student or Students of the Year”
