Our names are Nikolina Racic, Sydney Macy, and Megan Macy! We are so excited to share with you that this January we will be representing Brecksville Broadview Heights High School as candidates in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2023 Student Visionaries of the Year Northwest Ohio campaign. From January through March students across Northwest Ohio will be competing to see who can raise the most funds and awareness for LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers.

When experiencing sadness or tragedy arising from leukemia and lymphoma, it is sometimes hard to be optimistic. However, we want to target leukemia and lymphoma and bring optimism and hope to all children and families that are experiencing this pain. We firmly believe that all children deserve to lead happy and healthy lives surrounded by love and support. We, Team Arrow, are aiming for a cure to shoot down cancer through research.

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
