My why!

Leading into my second year working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies Visionaries Program, I’m excited to continue raising money for blood cancer patients. This campaign is so special to me because when my sister was 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. She is now 22 years old and has been cancer free for over 10 years. She’s one of the strongest people I know. Situations like this happen to more families than you know. So, when I was given the opportunity to raise awareness for patients and their families, again, I took it. I’m so thankful for my family, friends, and this amazing campaign.

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
