I have signed up to save lives with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and am working to raise as much as possible over the next 7 weeks. Every dollar raised counts as one vote for my campaign. The candidate(s) whose team tallies the most votes earns the prestigious title of Student or Students of the Year. Will you help me earn that title?
 

The fight against cancer is one I will carry my whole life to fight on behalf of those who are unable to, but I cannot win this alone and I need your help. My Great-Uncle Geoff, my cousin Woody, and my friend Delaney lost their battles with Leukemia, and it is their memory that inspires me every day to work to make this world a better place.

I first met Delaney Nalepka seven years ago when she and my sister were in the same third grade class. She became one of my sister’s best friends and our families grew incredibly close when she was diagnosed. She was such a kind and sweet girl, but above all else, she was a goofball and always made everyone laugh. Today there are so many people that miss her contagious smile, and this year I want to use my campaign to bring that same smile to so many more lives. That is why I am competing in her honor with the team name Delaney’s Defenders to reach our goal of $100,000.

We really are getting close to our goal of a world without blood cancers!
