Students of the Year Cleveland

Grace Folden | Mindy's Missionaries

Welcome to Grace Folden's Fundraising Page!

Jan 25, 2020

I am very excited to inform you that I have the amazing opportunity to be a part of  The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s  “Students of the Year” campaign!  Students of the Year is a fundraising campaign with participants from many high schools in the greater Cleveland and surrounding areas. The campaign lasts for seven weeks and my team, Mindy’s Missionaries, is striving to raise $25,000!

I’m hoping you will consider helping me achieve this goal by making a donation or sponsorship.

I was motivated to join this campaign because of the personal impact Lymphoma has made on me through the devastating loss of Mindy Booth who was a close friend of my family.  Her memory is the inspiration and motivation behind my team’s fundraising and is what encouraged me to participate in this program. Mindy Booth was a wife and mother of four boys, but she was so much more than that to everyone who knew her.  Mindy sadly passed away in early 2016 after her battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Through my participation and our team’s fundraising, I hope to honor the memory of Mindy and her courageous battle with cancer and I hope to help provide much needed aid to local families dealing with the same struggles she had faced. The great thing about the money raised during this campaign is that it stays right here in our Northeast Ohio area to help local families and patients.

With your help, we can make a difference and be a part of changing and saving lives.

There are multiple ways you can donate to this incredible cause.

  • A monetary donation can be made here on our page or by mailing your check made payable to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society mail it to 6111 Oak Tree Blvd. Suite 130, Indeendence OH 44131. Please print my team name, “Mindy’s Missionaries”, in the memo section.
  • You can donate an auction item or gift basket which could include an experience (vacation home for a week, ski chalet usage), concert or sporting event tickets etc. These items will be auctioned off at the Grand Finale event on March 13 and the amo0unt raised would go toward our team goal.
  • You can advertise your business in the Grand Finale program and/or make a corporate sponsorship/donation.
  • Keep in mind that some employers will match your donation so be sure to ask your human resources department for details.

ALL donations are appreciated no matter the size and they are tax deductible! You truly can make a difference in someone’s life so please help us put an end to blood cancer!  You can reach our team by email at MindysMissionaries@gmail.com if you’d like to discuss auction donations or corporate sponsorships.  You can follow our journey on our Facebook page, “Team Mindy’s Missionaries” or on this  fundraising page.

              With much gratitude,

   Grace Folden
