I joined this team because I know the grasp cancer has on a family, I have experienced it first hand with my own. When Cancer took my grandmother from me, my whole family struggled. To think that my actions could help prevent families from that same struggle makes me feel amazing. When I was given the offer to be on Miles' team, I was excited to be given an option to be a part of something bigger than myself. After I learned more about the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), I knew that I could truly make a difference. I am more than grateful to be a part of this team.
