Dear friends and family,

I am honored to be a team leader and support  the 2019 Students of the Year program, a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from the Greater Cleveland area participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

My name is Ellie, and I am a sophomore at Hathaway Brown School. This year, my team CUREaegous and I are working hard to raise our goal of $20,000 in funds to go directly to LLS through their Students of the Year Campaign. With your help, we become steps closer to reaching that goal. Meanwhile, we are all changing the lives of individuals who have had their lives affected by blood cancer, right here in Northeastern Ohio.

Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Currently, 1.2 million people are living with, or are in remission from leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma. This is why it is so important for us to work together to end blood cancer once and for all. 

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS-funded research but will help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need.
