Dear Family and Friends,
We are participating in a unique fundraising opportunity called Collegiate of the Year and would greatly appreciate your support. Our campaign to be the Collegiate of the Year is all about dollars raised and we are asking you today to join us and Team “Striking Out Cancer” in this ambitious campaign. We have until April 12th to reach our goal of raising $7,500! Please help us to prevent someone from losing a loved one to blood cancer.
From the start of 2017 until today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an incredible 40 blood cancer treatments – 22 since January 2018 and three in the past couple of weeks alone. What’s more is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) helped advance 34 of those treatments at some point in their development journey. This is remarkable pace of progress is possible because of you and your commitment to the LLS mission.
We are running in honor of the Boy & Girl of the Year and for loved ones who have battled blood cancers. In the last couple months, Leukemia affected a young girl that was close to Kami. She witnessed the stress and torment that was placed on her family during that trying time, especially after the cancer took her away from them. We want to be able to not only make a difference in one family’s life, but in as many as we can. Your support with a donation or any kind of help you might be able to offer is greatly appreciated, even if that means telling your friends and family about our campaign. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has done so much to help families in need, but they can only do it with support from people like you!
