Students of the Year Toledo

Thank you for visiting my page for the 2021 Student of the Year campaign through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Student's of the Year offers a seven-week program for high-school students in Northwest Ohio to raise money through friendly competition for a wonderful cause. All money raised goes towards helping patients and their families, as well as crucial research to finding a cure for various types of blood cancer.
At the time of my acceptance into The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year campaign, I did not realize how personal this would become. My family has been greatly impacted with the loss of my aunt and my mother's sister Angela (Angie) Rankin at the age of 49 due to colon cancer. Cancer as a whole has taken so much away from so many different walks of life in different communities. The loss of my aunt has inspired me even more to participate, fundraise, bring awareness, and excel in the Student of the Year campaign.
By donating, you are supporting the mission work the Leukemia & Lymphoma society strives to achieve. Investing in ground-breaking research, supporting and providing education to patients and their families, and advocating at the state and federal level for legislation for those living with cancer would not be possible without these thoughtful donations. Together, we can be a part of something larger than us and help to one day achieve a world without blood cancer. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love and support.
