So many people I am close to have been affected by cancer, not just blood cancer. All different types of cancer run through my family, including melanoma, prostate, and breast cancer. I joined Students of the Year because the research in blood cancer contributes to the goal of finding a cure for so many other types of cancer. Some of the most crucial discoveries have come from research funded by LLS. These insights and treatments are helping people with many forms of cancer.
