Cancer's Kryptonite-Student of the Year Campaign
Glad to have a great team to be a part of raising money for such a great cause :).
Let’s end blood cancers and pictures like these
My Inspiration
Please Join Me In Putting an END to Blood Cancers
Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, in 2006 my grandmother was one of those people when she was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. Four years later after beating this, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia from the treatment used to treat her colon cancer. It was just 6 months later that she died. Currently, it’s estimated that 186,400 people have some form of blood cancer. Though some finish their journey by coming out alive not all have the possibility.
Leukemia and Lymphoma society is the leading non-profit organization when it comes to blood cancers. In fact, 41 of 47 FDA approved treatments in the past 3 years were funded by LLS. Selfless people, committed people, generous people, people like you are what make this possible. As someone who was positively affected by the kindness of the LLS organization I can truly say your partnership with me on this campaign means so much.
After receiving a nomination for Student of the Year I am making it my mission to help those families like mine who have been negatively affected by cancer. I hope you do the same as this could drastically change the course of cancer patient lives and help prevent anyone from going through what my family went through. This year during campaign I have a goal along with my team, Cancer's Kryptonite of raising as much money as we can for helping families like mine beat and fight blood cancers. I wouldn’t be able to do this without your help and support. Your donation and/or sponsorship to this campaign not only directly impacts LLS’ ability to help these families, but your support is also fully tax deductible.
I appreciate you considering donating to my LLS Student of the Year campaign. Your generosity helps and will make a difference. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org

Congratulations, Jackson, on raising money so that many more people can make more wonderful memories with their loved ones who are fighting cancer. Your grandmother, Linda, was a beautiful woman inside and out, and I have many fun memories of her. And she did quite an amazing job on your mom, and thus, YOU! So proud of you for honoring her legacy!

Whether you are rich, poor, young or old, cancer knows no boundaries. Praying for a cure and sending love to all the families it has touched. ( I know the grieve.) Thank you for taking a stand in finding a cure and hope.

Jackson, It is my pleasure to be able to donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. What a wonderful mission for you to support. In 1987, my youngest sister, and best friend, Kelly Moran, was diagnosed with CML, Chronic myelogenous Leukemia. She received a bone marrow transplant, but succumbed to Graft vs. host, where her body rejected the transplant. She passed away in 1989. It was a death sentence then, but today, because of research, and the dedication of so many, patients with CML are able to live. This is so worth dedicating to for further research, and cures.
