I am a visionary – I have a vision for a world without cancer, and I need your help to achieve it!

This year, I’m proud to be a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise awareness and fund for LLS’s mission.

I’ve taken on this challenge because just this past summer, one of my friends lost her brother to complications from leukemia. His funeral was a celebration of a wonderful, but far too short life, and it inspired me to do everything I can – to make a big difference today – so other families don’t have to suffer this kind of pain and loss.

Why LLS? Because they are a global leader in the fight against blood cancers: 

• Funding cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Providing free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizing thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
