As a cancer survivor who overcame Leukemia when I was diagnosed at the age of four, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission. Over the last 5 years, I have had active roles with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  It was a tough journey to overcome such a horrible sickness but I was able to with the help of many amazing people and LLS fundraising campaigns like these. I enjoy giving back to those closely affected by cancer and am excited to, not only raise money, but also raise awareness.
