If you are reading this, I am assuming it is because you are either interested in learning more about LLS and their mission, or you want to donate in support (both are equally as helpful and beneficial). I am beyond excited to begin my campaigning efforts as a Student Visionary. Part of the reason I was thrilled to be given this opportunity was because of the personal experience I have with cancer in my family. Although I don't have a personal experience with a blood cancer such as leukemia or lymphoma, I did watch my brother and dad battle thyroid cancer for sometime. Thankfully, they are both cancer-free and thriving, but the feeling my family and I experienced after learning of my brother and dad's cancer is one I will never forget. I hope you will join me in one of the first steps to finding a cure!
