This year, I’m so proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission. 

I want to dedicate my time to LLS because of my grandpa and mom. When my mom was 19 years old, her father was diagnosed with (liver) cancer and unfortunately passed away because of it. My mom later went on to become an oncologist and continues to conduct research on cancer in general, in honor of her dad and my grandpa. They both motivate me to become part of LLS to help save lives.
