Hello and welcome! My name is Rachel Shrestha and I am a senior at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. This year is my first year fundraising for LLS and I decided to dedicate my time to LLS and SVOY because my grandmother passed away due to cancer when I was young. I saw the pain, sacrifice, and expenses that comes with someone—and entire families—battling cancer. Medical research is also something that I have a lot of interest in!

My personal goal for this campaign is $5,000 by March 2nd! Although this is my first year, I feel passionately about and confident in the work LLS does! And I hope you consider donating to the cause and overall mission: 

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
