I am working with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society because of my personal experiences, desire to learn leadership skills, and hope to help individuals and families battling cancer. When my eldest brother was young, he battled with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a disease causing cancer cells to form in muscle tissue. Luckily, he survived and was able to live a healthy life. This experience has had long lasting effects on my family and led me to be interested in childhood cancer. I now work with the Student Visionaries of LLS in hopes that I can have an impact on a person and their families lives. I am beyond proud to be working with LLS and will do everything in my power to support their mission and contribute to the amazing work LLS is doing.
