Hi, I am Bhavi Vaghani, an 11th grader at Wheaton High School and a Medical Assistant student at Thomas Edison High School of Technology. I am also a student in the bioscience academy who has found a passion in the medical field in the hope of changing lives in the future. I play lacrosse and soccer along with a having a love for dance. 

I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

I am passionate about fundraising for leukemia and lymphoma because I believe that this is a strong step forward in helping and supporting the community, while also making a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by this devastating disease. Witnessing the challenges and struggles of people who are battling blood cancer has driven me to contribute in a way to fight against it. Every dollar that is raised to fund research brings us closer to coming up with a cure that could save millions of lives. Not only does this money fund research but it also supports patients and advocates for families. My desire to make a positive difference in this world, helps me strive to do the best I can do to support my community. I hope to raise awareness, inspire hope, and contribute to the ongoing fight to find a cure, so no one has to endure the pain and suffering caused by blood cancer.
