Hi! I chose to dedicate myself to the LLS cause in honor of my mom, Kris. In June of 2023 my mom was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma, which is a form of bone cancer. My mom’s battle and journey this fall inspired me to join LLS to help fight against cancer. Even though LLS fights a different type of cancer than what my mom experienced, I feel motivated because my mom was cured. I am driven to contribute to funding research that aims to discover a cure, to ensure that no one has to endure the heartbreaking losses that cancer can bring to individuals and families. Every morning, when I see my mom standing in the kitchen, it motivates me to help make it so that everyone gets to see their family members standing in the kitchen, cancer-free.
