Vince's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Hey everyone, my name's Vince Gude, I'm a junior at Gonzaga College High School, and this year I'm participating in the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. Over the next 7 weeks, I'll be working to raise as much money as possible to fight Leukemia and Lymphoma. Last summer, I met the man that changed my outlook on life. His name is William, and I spent a week building a wheelchair ramp in his garage. During this time, I was able to talk with him and hear his story. William ran a successful business and had three kids. However, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (a disease very similar to leukemia) and his life changed forever. He had to learn to adapt with living in a wheelchair, be a husband, and be a father at the same time. Despite the difficulties that were thrown his way, William never lost his positive attitude, and he always found a kind thing to say to me. I immediately looked for ways to get involved, and that is why I chose LLS. I want to make sure good people like William won't ever have to face these terrible diseases.
All donations will go towards funding research for immunotherapies. Your support would mean everything in making the world a better place. Thanks everybody!

I am so proud of you Vince. This is such an honorable thing you are doing, given the timing of Aunt Joann's diagnosis. Gregor and I wish you a Happy Birthday and we love you.

In Honor of my mother, who lost her battle from the side effects of beating Leukemia, the most beautiful, loving, caring mama I ever knew. Your beautiful soul has been forever missed by so many for the last 19 years. Every day I honor you in hopes that I can be half as a mother to my children as you were to me. Love you forever.
