Hi everyone!! I'm Riya Pudasaini :) This year I will be representing Robinson Secondary School as a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is something that means the world to me. 

When I first heard about the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign, I was immediately interested. I knew in my heart that I wanted to dedicate time and effort to this, as it would help better the world. By participating in LLS, I am able to represent those around me who I have watched struggle with cancer, and send the message that I stand with them and that I am here for them.

By raising money, we students are able to help those who are struggling with cancer and their families and put them at ease. Not only this, but the funding also allows for the possibility to find a cure. By finding a cure, we could put an end to blood cancer once and for all, and save countless lives.

Blood cancer is something that is impacting many people in the world, and knowing that my efforts can help is something that keeps me moving forward. I will work as hard as I can and do my absolute very best throughout this campaign!
