Hi! My name is Jacob Centeno, and I am a Junior at Gonzaga College High School. This year, I am participating in the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign for LLS (the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). It is no secret that cancer has had a big impact on our society today. When I was young, my grandmother sadly passed away due to bile duct cancer. At that age, I wasn't even old enough to comprehend what happened, but now that I am older, I know that this is a modern problem that needs help from everyone in order to come to an end. Through LLS, I am hopeful that with your help, medical research will have a step forward to finding the cure for cancer.
